I agree that the foster dog, whilst is located at my property and in my direct care, is and remains the property of SEQ K9 Rescue Inc.
I agree that at any time, SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. may remove the dog from my care without providing reason. I agree that we will comply with all reasonable requests to collect the dog from my property by a SEQ K9 Rescue Inc representative. If I do not comply I understand that we may be reported to the police.
I understand that the dog is being placed with me for an indefinite period of time that begins on the date of the dog being delivered/collected and can be returned to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. at any time if the dog is deemed unsuitable.
I agree to provide SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. suitable photos and a brief personality description of my foster dog within 2 days of receiving them into my care.
We will be required to take the dog to a vet clinic for pre adoption vet work. If we can’t attend the appointment I will let SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. know ASAP.
I understand that if I am fostering a dog that needs desexing the dog must be transported to the nominated SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. vet in the morning and collected in the afternoon. I must do this to enable the dog to be adopted
I understand I may be contacted to arrange a meet and greet or a phone interview with a potential adopter. I agree to work with SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. to facilitate these meet and greets to allow my foster dog the best chance at being adopted
I agree that if there is a chance that I may wish to adopt our current foster or another dog in care, I will advise SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. prior to applications being received for the dog. I agree that if an application has been received, my application will be assessed alongside the other applications received. I am not guaranteed to be successful in the adoption of the foster dog.
I understand that SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. may request to inspect my premises or request photographs in the absence of a home check, prior to, or at any time to ensure that the dog will be housed in a safe and secure surroundings for the foster period.
I agree that I will contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. as soon as I become aware of any behavior issues and agree to work with my foster to overcome these issues.
If the dog becomes lost during the foster period, I agree to notify SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. immediately by text to Lisa 0412972228 or to SEQ K9 Rescue Team Page. I also agree to begin searching for the animal in my immediate area as soon as possible. I also agree to contact the QLD Lost Pet Register on Facebook. I also agree to contact the RSPCA and list a lost pet report.
If the dog is impounded during the foster period by any council or private facility including a veterinary surgery, I will be responsible for paying the impound costs or any other fees to have the animal released. SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. may request that the dog is returned to them on release from the facility
During the foster period should the dog require any medical attention, I agree to contact SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. immediately. Any veterinary costs incurred by me without the agreement of SEQ K9 Rescue Inc will not be refunded to me. I may be asked to contribute to the cost for any issues deemed as being caused by me or as a circumstance of my care of the animal.
If I need to return the dog to SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. I agree that we will attempt to provide at least one week notice to find alternative care. SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. acknowledge that this may not often be applicable, however, I agree to work together with SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. to relocate my foster dog.
During the foster period, I agree that any damage done to property belonging to me/us/others by the dog will not be refunded by SEQ K9 Rescue Inc.
If at any time, during the foster period, SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. becomes aware that the animal is being mistreated, SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. may remove the dog without notice – the dog is the property of SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. The dog will be assessed by a veterinarian and/or a behavioral specialist. If SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. considers the situation resolved satisfactorily and the animal faces no further threat it may be returned to me, If the dog is deemed to still be at risk, the dog will be retained by SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. and I may be reported to the Police.
During the foster period I agree that the dog will only reside at the address provided in the foster application unless prior arrangements are made with SEQ K9 Rescue.
During the foster period, should the animal in my care be responsible for any damage or injury on a human, other animal or livestock I agree that I will release SEQ K9 Rescue Inc. of any responsibility for any following legal action.

Desexing, Microchipping and Vaccinations *I understand all dogs adopted from SEQ K9 Rescue Inc will be desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated before an adoption will be considered final.
